Florida $t. Review
BEATDOWN!
It was more than fun to watch the Gators crush the Seminoles at the Swamp.  So much talk from punks like Geno Tayes, er, Hayes about how Tim Tebow was 'going down'.  Yeah - 'down' the field.  'Down in the history books'.  Typical clowns from the clown school.  They were manhandled on both lines, and it was apparent by late in the first quarter that Florida was the dominant team and program in the state.
The Gator defense has shown improvement the past month since the debacle against Georgia.  The move of Mike Pouncey to DT really solidified the middle.  Cunningham and Harvey were unblockable, as the Turnstiles (formerly known as the F$U O-Line) were spun again.  Spikes has really improved in pass coverage.  I would say that this was Joiner's best game of the season.  He anticipated run and pass plays very well and was in position to make big plays all night. Jacques Rickerson stepped in for Haden at CB and played very well.  He could be one of those guys that doesn't always practice well but turns it on on the field.  The only playmaker that F$U has is Preston Parker, who is the only reason they moved the ball in the first half.  Good luck with Jimbo Fisher as OC and Head-Coach-in-Waiting, 'Nole fans.
The Gator offense toyed with the Seminoles.  The O-Line whipped F$U's D-Line all game long.  Percy Harvin was electric at RB.  If he can just stay healthy for an entire season -- look out.  Tayes had all of 1 tackle -- what a joke he is.  And F$U's LBs and DBs wanted no part of Tebow in the open field.  Murphy has really developed into a reliable weapon at WR.  CI was healthy again, and he was available anytime Tebow needed a play -- a complete mismatch for F$U.  They just punished the Seminoles the entire game -- a wonderful thing.  And Tebow showed again why he's the best QB in the country.  His deep throws are money, and when he decides to run he's a load.
This game was once again the springboard to a big recruiting class.  It's obvious to even the most jaded F$U fan or recruit watching this game that Florida's talent level is far beyond F$U's.  And the coaching at Florida is superior.  Players are developed and perform at a high level, while the Seminoles don't have a clue on offense and have been exposed on defense.  Despite smaller numbers than in 2006 and 2007, the Gators should reel in another Top 5 class in 2008.
And now it's another off-season of discontent in Taliban City, as Blobby desperately hangs on to stay ahead of Paterno in the win category, while Head Clown-in-Waiting Jimbo Fisher gets ready to take over -- maybe.  What a farce.  And all this uncertainty just widens the gap between the Gators and Seminoles.  More beatdowns to come!
I'll be back with a Capital One Bowl Preview for Florida vs. Michigan.  Go Gators!
